Really great park. Was there for a 10k race event. Beautiful park and great people around.

Some parks you visit. Burns Park you belong to. We live a few blocks away, and our two Great Pyrenees have logged enough miles on these paths to qualify as honorary residents. Coco Bear stops to boop every nose she meets. Tallulah pretends sheβs wild and untamed and then immediately rolls over for a belly rub from a six-year-old. The park accommodates both with the same easy grace. What gets me about Burns Park is how genuinely it works. Kids on the playground in the morning, tennis players claiming the courts by mid-afternoon, runners doing loops at dusk, neighbors lingering on benches because thereβs no real reason to hurry home. The annual Run/Walk we just finished is the whole place distilled into one Sunday: families pushing strollers, retirees in race bibs, a few serious runners up front, dogs of every persuasion in the back, and the elementary school cheering everyone across the line like itβs the Boston Marathon. It is not a flashy park. There is no signature feature, no dramatic vista, no architectural showpiece. What it has is something rarer: a neighborhood that actually uses it. Every day. In every season. By every age. You can feel a hundred years of pickup baseball ga

Made it a point to come back to this park with my 12.5 yr old son, While we were in the area, Three years later. It's immaculately well taken care of, clean, and safe. There's even more new equipment than before. *Multiple sets of playground equipment, with tunnels and slides and monkey bars, for kids of all ages from 1 to 17. *Multiple basketball courts at either end of the park. *WIDE OPEN SPACE between each play area. Plenty of room to throw a ball or a frisbee. *A pergola, plus benches throughout the park. *Full Working Swings - Big enough to accommodate " Big kids" ... like Mom. 10/10

Historic Burns Park, always clean and safe with many areas, with baseball diamonds, tennis courts, rentable "Warming House", ice rink in winter, many kid play structures...and "The Big Hill"!
